If you’ve been up to date to the news today, you would know that many milk products from China have been banned in different countries due to the presence of Melamine, an item being used for making plastics. Here in the Philippines, many companies have been affected as well. Imagine cereal without milk, cakes and pastries using milk, ice cream using processed milk, cheese, and many others. Basically it’s not only milk that’s affected but everything else that uses milk products.

It’s a good thing that the Department of Health, with the Bureau of Food and Drugs released the results of their testing. Of 30 milk tested, 2 failed their tests and tested positive for melamine. These are the Greenfood Yili Fresh Milk and Mengniu Drink.

Here’s the partial list of milk products tested safe from melamine. According to BFAD, they will still test 200 more.
