Elections: The whole world breathlessly awaits the results of the US Presidential Elections. Everyone wants to find out if the winner will eventually lead the US out of their present crisis. Enrollment: I submitted my resignation at work couple of weeks ago and it will be effective this November 9. Since Rafi and I mostly see each other at work, this small detail of my resignation lessened our chances of seeing each other regularly. Oh well sacrifices must be made. I resigned from work to give way to my studies. My major subjects are all in the afternoon and since my work schedule is also in the afternoon, i would have to change it. Checking with my supervisor at work, we found out that if ever i do shift my work schedule to a night shift, it would only leave me with 2-3 hours per day of sleep. Ouch! No choice. Resignation.

For some schools, second semester has already started. To be honest i think my school also resumed classes yesterday but i plan to go to school next week since the first days are usually allotted for introductions.

Everything: Bits and pieces of my life. I was home alone during All Souls Day and the morning of All Saint’s Day. Our maid left to pay homage to her dead relatives while my 2 sisters were somewhere else. My parents visited our youngest sister who died when she was a baby.

Two days ago, my younger sister and our maid exchanged some heated words. My sister asked our maid to buy some food at the market. Off went our maid with the grocery list, instructions to text my sister if something goes wrong, and whereabouts of the places to buy the items. After about two hours, our maid got back home and proudly presented my sister with what she bought. My sister cried. Our maid got everything wrong and i’m not exaggerating. This was not the first time our maid fouled up. Me and my elder sister passed her foul-ups as “ok we can’t do anything about it” since we can do something else with whatever our maid bought incorrectly. Unfortunately my younger sister didn’t have the luxury of buying the correct ones as she already gave all her money to buy the supposedly correct items. So my sister told our maid to return the incorrect items she bought and buy the correct ones. Oh yeah she returned the incorrect items all right, but she didn’t exchange the said items. She returned empty handed saying the shops don’t have any return policy but the items can be traded. The bad part? She didn’t even get some replacement items. No money, no item, not even the receipt. So when my sister went with our maid to get her money back or get some items back, the shops didn’t entertain them as they have no receipt as proof. Talk about bad luck.

To cut to the chase, my sister got angry and scolded her. My sister didn’t call her bad names. She was only told to do her job correctly and to get it right next time. Our maid stormed off and left the house taking her clothings and everything with her. She left a note to us saying she can’t stand the words of my younger sister and that we’d be better off without her. I guess she’s right. We’re better off without her. If she can’t accept being corrected, then she will definitely not improve.

Anyway we’re back with no maid and doing everything ourselves. It’s still hard since we have to adjust our schedules to make sure everything in the household will be cleaned, food will be prepared, clothes will be washed. It’s a good thing i already resigned from work. At least i get to concentrate a bit in some household duties.

Also at least now i can concentrate (i hope) in getting from Rags to Riches in the cyberworld and doing some SEO work in Busby SEO Test.
