When I posted our latest article yesterday about being Philippine bloggers, i didn’t expect to see something new while viewing my post. Page Rank 3! Very nice!!! Talk about getting a great gift from google. Today is our 1st year anniversary as a couple and today also marks the 47th day of our blog about earning online. Although we haven’t posted much about our online and offline endeavors, we now feel that we are doing something right. We learned about countless information in the real world and in the web and we know we are still continuously learning everyday of our lives.

I have a google toolbar on my browser and it has a page rank checker. Sometimes it provides false information especially when you just visited a high ranking site then moved to a low ranking site or vice versa. The former PR will still show in the latter’s page. That’s why when i saw a page rank 3 on this site, i just shrugged it off at first. But when i saw the different sites i have open on my browser’s tabs i began to be excited. You see i only had google.com, janrafi.com and my router’s page open. Obviously google.com doesn’t have PR3 and my router’s page is definitely not a PR3. So I checked with different page rank checkers to verify if what i was seeing was true or was it just a product of my toolbar’s error. Woottt!!! We do have a page rank 3!

Now we have our work cut out for us. Since I was inspired to do something about the page rank. I redesigned our site a bit. I added google ads and modified the theme a bit. Yeah yeah some people have google ads way before getting a page rank. But in our case, getting a numbered PR (not 0 anymore) means that we are in a good start now to add or make some changes. So we did.

Today marks the start of a new beginning and we’re going to make sure that at the next page ranking of google, we get to keep or beat our current page rank. Our journey has just started.
