7 steps to do when encountering any problem

To be updated, you really should subscribe to my Full RSS feed. You don't want to miss any informative post! Best of all it's FREE!

A couple of days ago all of my sites were down because of some problems with my hosting. I waited for some hours since dreamhost was quick enough to announce that they are having problems with my cluster. But after announcing that they have fixed the problem but my sites were still down, I emailed their customer support. An hour after my email, all of my sites were back up. We’re back in the business of earning money online and get from rags to riches online.

I normally do these steps when encountering any problem whether on my site or in any of my other endeavors.

1. Be patient.
2. Check for announcements or apology.
3. Wait for a certain grace period.
4. After the time lapse, email the person or support.
5. Attach a supporting image to your claim.
6. Wait for results
7. Repeat from step 1.

I rarely get angry but if I do then there’s a darn good reason for it.

How about you? What do you do when your site is down? That’s the biggest problem of any blogger.

I do tend to get angry sometimes when I have such issues, but always think they’re only human and errors are possible. So I do what you advised here and I always got a decent response on anything. I make mistakes too as a business owner and I like it when my clients don’t let the … hit the fan on the first second they see something is not right.

we do have our own ways to solve our problems but i guess the most important thing is not to lose our patience fast and to forgive easily.

    I need more patience …

A lot of times when I’m agitated, I really just want to blurt all things out. I know I should practice more self-control. It takes a moment to pause and be calm.
